Several major cruise ships, among them the colossal Queen Mary 2 launched earlier this year, offer scaled-down courts on deck for the game of paddle tennis, but passengers traveling aboard one unusual vessel can play real tennis on a full-size court without going ashore.
The World of ResidenSea was launched in 2002 as a condominium-style residential community contained on a 644-foot cruise ship, complete with restaurants, a spa and fitness center and other amenities similar to what you'd find on a typical mid-size cruise liner.
