Los Milagros Boutique hotel in the heart of Cabo
Los Milagros (The Miracles) has just 12 rooms, so it's an intimate alternative to the mega-resorts on the beach. Some units have kitchenettes and the largest unit, the master suite, has a sunken tub. None of them have TV, because the whole point of coming to Cabo is to relax and tune out.
The flower-filled courtyard is a great place to have coffee in the mornings. Check out the iguana lounging there! There is also a small pool.
Los Milagros is just around the corner from the strip; hotspots Cabo Wabo and Giggling Marlin are less than two blocks away. The place is quiet, though, because it's tucked behind a hill.
And how's this for an endorsement: Sammy Hagar, owner of the Cabo Wabo (and former frontman for Van Halen) rents the place when he has guests in town.
Rooms average $85 a night year round.
