You can find cheaper accommodations in San Diego, but few places offer such a winning combination of reasonable rates, comfy quarters, desirable location and authentic sense of style and whimsy. At the bottom end of the rate scale are four smaller units that rent for $99 a night, all clean and cozy with queen-size beds and private bathrooms. Spend a bit more ($149 to $219 a night) and you can choose from a variety of larger suites, some with kitchens and/or large whirlpool tubs. Decorative motifs range from traditional to fanciful, including the Tarzan-themed Greystoke suite and the Asian-inspired Orient Express suite. Consider choosing a unit with a private patio where you can enjoy the complimentary continental breakfasts, which are delivered daily to all guests.
