Travel Info Primm Valley, Nevada
Despite its seemingly remote location on the California-Nevada border, getting to Primm Valley is a breeze. Numerous airlines serve Las Vegas McCarran International Airport with frequent flights from cities throughout the United States and abroad. Upon arrival, it's easy to rent a car and drive the 35 miles of interstate highway to the resort. Day-trippers are welcome, but if you choose to stay at the resort, you'll pay lower green fees and get first dibs on tee times (up to 90 days in advance, versus 60 days for non-guests).
The Primm Valley complex features three separate hotels, each with its own casino, restaurants and recreational facilities. The 624-room Primm Valley Resort & Casino is the most expensive and most adult-oriented of the three. The mid-range choice is Whiskey Pete's Hotel & Casino, with 777 rooms and a 700-seat showroom and comedy club. The biggest and most affordable property is Buffalo Bill's Resort, featuring 1,242 rooms in two hotel towers, amusement park rides and a 6,000-seat arena for concerts and other special events. A free monorail links all three hotels, so you can stay at the Primm Valley Resort, for example, and zip over to Buffalo Bill's for a dizzying spin on the Desperado rollercoaster without getting behind the wheel. Various dining options are available at the hotels and the clubhouse, and unless you want to drive up to Vegas for a night on the town, there's not much point in leaving the resort for meals.
