The University of Notre Dame boasts one of the most successful football programs in the history of collegiate sports, so it’s no surprise that the official Fighting Irish fantasy camp has achieved tremendous popularity since its inception in 2003. Men lucky enough to secure one of the 50 spots in each year’s camp immerse themselves in a sporting tradition that dates back to the early days of American football, following in the hallowed footsteps of Knute Rockne, George "The Gipper" Gipp, Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian and other football legends.

Participants spend five summer days on the University of Notre Dame campus in the company of former Notre Dame players and current and former coaches, with daily practices, use of the varsity locker room, social activities and talks about offensive strategy, game planning and other topics. The program culminates with a 60-minute flag football game complete with real uniforms, officials and play-by-play announcers.
