Take the Coffee IQ Quiz

  • Use tiny filters that sit on a coffee cup.
  • Line the bottom of the coffee cup with condensed milk.
  • Put the filter on the cup and put the Vietnamese coffee in the filter.
  • Pour hot water over the top and let it drip through to the condensed milk.
  • When it's finished dripping — ordinarily 5-10 minutes later — stir and pour over ice.
  • You can also use traditionally brewed coffee for café sua da.
  • At a restaurant, order this coffee before dinner so it will have time to drip all the way through and you can enjoy it with dessert.
