Iconic Art The estate of famed gallery owner, art dealer and visionary Holly Solomon is up on the block at Bonhams & Butterfields in Los Angeles. Solomon was always ahead of her time, championing struggling artists who would rise to stardom, such as Andy Warhol, William Wegman, Kim MacConnel and Izhar Patkin.
The Bonhams & Butterfields expert in charge of the sale, Frank Hettig, was a close friend of Holly Solomon, enabling him to give viewers and inside look at the life of this remarkable woman through the lens of her collection of art.
