We visit a home in the Hollywood Hills where owner Vivian Pendrill creates a sleeping oasis on her patio. We also meet the Gleysteen family from Lincoln, Massachusetts. They turned their porch into a sunny sanctuary. Finally, writer Maria Amparo Escandon shows us how she transformed her Los Angeles home from the worst in the neighborhood into one of the best.
