Host Gia Bocra journeys into the famous valley known as Jackson Hole, Wyoming, by land, water, and air in search of the "Spirit of the West."

Her adventure begins as she meets up with legendary fly fisherman Jack Dennis to learn the secrets of casting at Jack's Fly Fishing School. After her lesson, Gia travels with Jack to the Snake River to put her skills to the test. Though she doesn't catch a fish, she soon realizes that the beauty of the sport lies in the poetry of the perfect cast -- and in the breathtaking environment.

When Gia notices rafters floating by, she decides to hop on a raft herself to learn more about the Snake River and explore more untouched natural beauty. Later she heads into town on a horse-drawn carriage, then takes a ride in a hot air balloon. Gia wraps up her trip with a visit to a rodeo, and a round of golf with Jack Dennis at Teton Pines.
