All items eBay invited eight designers to decorate one room each of a New York City townhouse in seven weeks, with budgets ranged from $8,000 for the garden to $22,000 for the library — and all items purchased through auction on eBay. The furniture and accessories featured in the Showcase were also resold in an online charity auction, with proceeds benefiting Alpha Workshops, a studio for artists living with HIV.
