Christmas Cookie Cocktail Recipe from 10 Merry Christmas Cocktails
Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., the largest privately owned home in America, celebrates Christmas with some traditions begun when George W. Vanderbilt first welcomed his friends and family to the French Renaissance chateau on Christmas Eve 1895.
This beverage, though, is made from modern ingredients and served at one of the estate's restaurants, Deerpark. It's all part of Biltmore's Christmas festivities that include holiday ensemble music and candlelight Christmas tours of the 8,000-acre, 250-room estate.
Instructions:
1. Drizzle chocolate sauce on a chilled martini glass.
2. Add 2 oz. White Godiva Vodka, 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream, 1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps and 1/2 oz. half and half
3. Garnish with a miniature candy cane or chocolate shavings.
