Kiwi Caipirinha
Ingredients:
1 lime, diced
1 kiwi, cubed
6 fresh mint leaves
1 tsp. raw sugar
2 oz. cachaca
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Garnish: kiwi slice
Preparation:
Place the diced lime in the bottom of a 10-ounce glass; add cubed kiwi. Pinch apart the mint leaves and add to the glass. Top the mixture off with raw sugar. Muddle the ingredients together for about 10 seconds or until well blended (this is the best way to bring out the full flavor of the fruit).
Fill the rest of the glass with ice, then pour in cachaca and simple syrup. Give the mixture a good stir. Garnish with a kiwi slice on the rim of the glass.
