A Beringer blending table

The Beringer Master Series Food and Wine Fantasy Camp is the ultimate wine and dine experience! Visit cloistered cellars in the Napa Valley, talk to the vintners, explore their special wine-making secrets and savor their finest vintages. Then it's on to a one-of-a-kind restaurant, such as the world-renowned French Laundry. At any featured eatery, reservations are always coveted but you tour alongside the chef and then settle in for a delectable meal.

Camp Details

  • At the Beringer Rhine House camp, participants learn about five wine varieties grown in the Napa Valley region and discover what conditions should exist to make a fine wine.
  • At the winery you will participate in the Vintage Legacy Tour, a seminar on wine and food and wine and cheese pairing ending with an exceptional four course dinner.
  • Beringer's scheduled programs ordinarily include as many as 10 Napa Valley Tours throughout the year, and 10-12 day international tours.
  • Potential chefs include: Thomas Keller of The French Laundry, Bradley Ogden of The Lark Creek Inn, Nancy Oaks of Boulevard, Gary Danko of Restaurant Gary Danko, Mark Franz of Farallon, Roland Passot of La Folie, Hubert Keller of Fleur de Lys, and author and television personality Joanne Weir, just to name a few.

Logistics

  • Costs: Prices depend on how long and where a program is held. At the weekend Beringer Rhine House camp, the cost per person is $750 and does not include accommodations. Call for complete details.
    • A 12 day food and wine discovery of Chile and Argentina is $5,700 per person based on double occupancy.
    • A 5 day culinary adventure in the wine country based on double occupancy is priced from $3,275.
  • Time: Programs may be any length from 1-12 days.
  • Seasonal: All classes are held between May and December, with the majority in August, September and October
  • Updates: Some special happenings evolve after the schedule is out, so follow the Beringer.com web page for ongoing updates.
