Live the life of a rock star with Roger Daltrey, Ace Frehley and more. This five-day fantasy camp culminates with a live performance on stage.
Camp Details
- Participants don't need musical experience.
- Campers are split into bands, each with its own rock star instructor, to prepare for a live show at New York's The Bottom Line.
- Campers who are musicians usually bring their own guitars, but Fender guitars, Korg keyboards and Marshall amplifiers are provided.
- Campers spend six-to-eight hours a day rehearsing with instructors. They also practice vocals in a studio and have time to hang out with instructors.
- Each camper takes home a personalized demo and videotape.
Accommodations
Hotels have not yet been selected for 2004.
Logistics
- Cost: $6,999, which includes meals, transportation to and from the events, and use of equipment. (The price does not include hotel or airfare.)
- Time: Five days and four nights
- Seasonal: Currently, camps are held annually in each city and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
