Calamari
From Dinner Date Episode 113 - Get a Sneak Peek

Ingredients:

750 ml cooking oil
1/2-lb. calamari rings
1 cup flour
2 lemon wedges

Directions:

Prep: 6-7 minutes

  1. Heat up the cooking oil to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut 1/4-inch rings from calamari bodies.
  3. Season the flour mixture with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss the calamari rings in seasoned flour and shake in a strainer.
  5. Drop the rings in a fryer for 1-1/2 minutes — pull out and plate. Serve with a little lemon and or red sauce.
