On the Cheap

• Bold Prints, Florals and Patterns
  Not a Style Matters favorite, but something designers appear to love. We say they’ll be here and gone in a flash, so don’t dole out your hard earned cash on this trend .

• Trapeze Dresses
  This style hales from the Sixties. You will see them at a wide range of price points. By all means if you find one you love, buy it, but be careful that it’s not cut too short or too wide.

• Wide–Leg Jeans
  Yay! We now have an alternative to the super skinny jean. Wide leg pants are flattering to most women; they balance hips and hide flaws. Denim is denim. With these jeans it's the fit, not the price. You’ll see us wearing them, for sure.

• Transparent Accessories
  Shopping for shoes will be a blast this season. Wait until you see all the styles with lucite heels, eye–catching cut–outs and see–through platform soles. Transparency extends to handbags made from clear PVC plastic. Great. Everyone can see your wadded up tissues and parking tickets. Have fun, but spend your money wisely. These styles have an expiration date.
