Gift Guide for Guys Creative ideas your man will love
By Leanne Potts
Shopping for the man in your life is tough. To keep you from adding to the pile of unused gadgets in his closet or (yawn) buying him a pair of slippers, the staff of FineLiving.com has put together a list of fab gift ideas.
What: TomTom One Portable GPS Navigator
Why It's Cool: Men love gadgets and hate to ask for directions. The TomTom has 2-D and 3-D maps and is small enough to fit in his pocket. It also gives spoken word, turn by turn directions so he isn't looking at the screen while driving. You can download voices for the TomTom at the company web site. They come in 30 languages and a range of characters and celebrities, like a growling New York cabbie, a Mafia don or John Cleese of Monty Python fame.

What: The Coen Brothers Movie Collection
Why It's Cool: For more than two decades the Coens have been making movies worth watching over and over. This collection of DVDs includes 5 Coen classics: "Blood Simple," "Miller's Crossing," "Raising Arizona," "Barton Fink" and "Fargo," which still has the best movie scene of all time involving a wood chipper. It's a boxed set with no culls. Note: "The Big Lebowski," a guy flick with a cult following, is included in the Coen Brothers boxed set that came out in 2005. Get it, too, for the complete Coen Brothers experience.
