Deforest Gibbs Barbecue Sauce

Yield: 10 ounces

Ingredients:

4 ounces yellow mustard
1 ounce brown sugar
1 ounce sugar
1 ounce hot sauce
1 ounce balsamic vinegar
2 ounces seeded and diced hot peppers
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 ounces ketchup
1 ounce tequila

Instructions:

  1. Using a medium-size skillet, begin by heating the mustard.
  2. Add the brown sugar, sugar, hot sauce, vinegar, peppers, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and tequila.
  3. Mix all of the ingredients well and heat but do not bring to a boil.
  4. Once the sauce is well mixed, serve with your favorite meats or store, refrigerated, in an airtight container.
