Dudley's JournalWe have been lucky to find towns that accepted Dudley all over America — Madrid was no exception. Some towns in America have really gone to the dogs, which is just fine for Dudley. In our travels, we've visited several places that seem particularly dog-friendly. Madrid is a good example, as is Key West, and surprisingly, New York City.
In Madrid, dogs have the unspoken right-of-way on all town streets and visit house-to-house as they see fit. In fact, Dudley looked out of place wearing his leash. In Key West, many restaurants, especially those with patios, welcomed our canine companion — in New York, places like the Pet Bar and the SoHo Grand Hotel, both in SoHo, provided deluxe treatment for Dudley. The lounge at the SoHo Grand even let us enjoy dinner inside with Dudley lying peacefully at our feet.
Because we have visited towns like Madrid and New York, Dudley may never have to see the inside of a kennel again. |
