Emily and Dudley take a break from their hectic day.

Dudley has endured a lot on this journey, but our' recent obsession with fishing has tested his tolerance. It started innocently enough, and it looked like a good way to spend some quality family-and-dog time together, playing on the beach or going for long walks in the woods. But somewhere along the way, fishing turned into more of a chroe for Dudley he had to watch his every step in the motor home, lest he catch a tender paw on a discarded fishhook.
Instead of visiting the beach to run through the sand and play catch, Dudley found himself attached to a lawn chair by his leash while we stared at our fishing poles. The walk in the woods? Well, he was able to get his paws muddy in some fly-infested swamp. The worst part, though, was enduring our dejected moods as we drove home tired and empty-handed. But at least there's one thing he can be happy about. With us in charge, he'll never have to eat fish.
