Once again, we've gone and experienced something that our little brown dog can't participate in. How sad. But before you pity Dudley too much, it's not all bad news. In the course of our week of sampling some of the best diner fare in America, there were plenty of doggie bags brought back to Murray and much happy tail wagging at their yummy contents.

Dudley has always suffered from a bit of separation anxiety. Every time we leave him in the motorhome, he anxiously watches for us to return instead of just relaxing and taking a nap like he should.

And even though we'd like to think that he's still just waiting to be back in the presence of his beloved Mom and Dad, after our week visiting New Jersey's diners, we can no longer tell if he's actually happy to see us or just hoping to score some leftovers.
