Lisa Matlock Donkers
Age: 33
Occupation: Home decorator
Hometown: Shedden, Ontario
Design Style: Classic/traditional with modern accents
Motto to Live By: Live each day to the fullest. I always believe that there is something greater for me as long as I take chances.
Lisa has no formal design training but has plenty of experience doing her own designing at home. Over the last six years she has changed the interior design of her home over five times.
Lisa is thrilled that Debbie will give a chance to at least one protege who has no training. This is truly the dream of a lifetime. Lisa, a city girl born and raised, made her way to the country when she married her dairy farmer husband. When Lisa, the mother of two boys, isn't caring for her family, she is redesigning her farmhouse. Desperate for this chance to be Debbie's new chief designer, Lisa says, "I have the passion, talent and the calluses of a hard-working girl to prove it. I know I was meant to do more than I am. I just need a break to prove it."
