Gin Cocktails

Dry Gin Martini

Ingredients:

2 oz. gin
dash vermouth
olive or lemon twist

Tools:

mixing glass
strainer
bar spoon
cocktail glass

Fill a mixing glass half full of ice. Pour in 2 oz. gin and stir for 20 seconds. Coat a chilled martini glass with a few dashes of vermouth. Strain the gin into the glass and garnish with an olive or a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

3 oz. Gordon's gin
1 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. Kina Lillet
lemon twist

Tools:

shaker
strainer
cocktail glass

Fill a shaker half full of ice. Pour in 3 oz. Gordon's gin, 1 oz. vodka and 1/2 oz. Kina Lillet. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

1 oz. gin
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. sweet vermouth
lime wedge

Tools:

rocks glass

Start with a rocks glass full of ice. Pour in 1 oz. gin, 1 oz. Campari and 1 oz. sweet vermouth. Give it a quick stir and garnish with a lime wedge.

Gin Highball

2 oz. gin
ginger ale
lemon twist

Pour gin into highball glass over ice. Fill with ginger ale, add lemon twist and stir.

Ingredients:

1 oz. gin
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. fresh orange juice
lemon twist

Tools:

shaker
strainer
cocktail glass

Fill the shaker half full of ice. Combine 1 oz. gin, 1/2 oz. dry vermouth, 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth and 1/2 oz. fresh orange juice. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

2 oz. gin
dash dry vermouth
1/2 oz. olive juice
olives

Tools:

shaker
strainer
bar spoon
cocktail glass

Fill a shaker half full of ice. Pour in 2 oz. gin and 1/2 oz. olive juice. Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass coated with a few dashes of dry vermouth. Garnish with olives.

Ingredients:

2 oz. gin
1/2 lemon
1 tsp. powdered sugar
club soda

Tools:

highball glass
shaker
strainer
citrus squeezer
bar spoon
teaspoon

Fill a shaker half full of ice. Combine 2 oz. gin, the juice from half a lemon and 1 tsp. powdered sugar. Shake well and strain into a highball glass over new ice. Top it off with club soda and stir.

Gin and Tonic

Ingredients:

2 oz. gin
tonic water
lime wedge

Tools:

rocks glass

Pour 2 oz. gin over ice in a rocks glass. Fill with tonic water and garnish with a celery stalk, an olive spear and lime wedge.
