Tequila and Nonalcoholic Cocktails
Tequila
Tequila Sunrise
Ingredients:
1-1/2 oz. reposado tequila
3 oz. fresh orange juice
3/4 oz. grenadine
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
5 dashes cayenne pepper
dry orange zest
orange wheel

Fill a shaker half full of ice. Pour in 1-1/2 oz. reposado tequila and 3 oz. fresh orange juice and let sit. On a plate, mix 3 tbs. sugar, 1/2 tsp. sea salt, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 5 dashes cayenne pepper and some dry orange zest. Run an orange slice along the outer rim of a cocktail glass and rim the edge of the glass with the dry mixture. Shake and strain the contents of the shaker into the cocktail glass. Slowly pour 3/4 oz. grenadine down the side of the glass and let it settle at the bottom. Garnish with an orange wheel.
Nonalcoholic
Shirley Temple
Ingredients:
ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
splash maraschino syrup
orange slice
cherry

Start with a highball glass filled with ice. Pour in ginger ale or lemon-lime soda and top it off with a few splashes of maraschino syrup. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
Texas Sunrise
Ingredients:
8 oz. fresh orange juice
3/4 oz. maraschino syrup
lime wedge
cherry

Start by filling a glass with ice and pouring in 8 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice. Add 3/4 oz. maraschino syrup and let it settle at the bottom. Garnish with a cherry and a lime.
Virgin Sea Breeze
Ingredients:
3 oz. cranberry juice
3 oz. grapefruit juice
orange wheel
Tools:
rocks glass
Pour 3 oz. cranberry juice and 3 oz. grapefruit juice over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange wheel.
