New York City bartender-turned-TV-host Stephen Phillips lends a helpful hand to those entertaining at home in the FINE LIVING TV NETWORK series Great Cocktails. This TV series is an expert guide to throwing a great cocktail party that comes complete with a bagful of bar tricks, conversation starters and recipes guaranteed to impress.

Everyone wants to be a great party host but doesn't always have the time or resources to plan that great party. Stephen comes to the rescue as an insider friend, bringing with him a reputation for developing entertaining bar experiences unlike any other. While he's mixing drinks and pouring beers, Stephen plays psychologist and matchmaker to all who sit at his bar. His large following feels so at home they call him their "personal bartender."

A trick Stephen uses to keep his guests entertained is to bring toys and games into each of the hotspots where he's worked, turning the bar experience into a virtual "Toys 'r' Us" for adults, which is evident at the Manhattan hotspot DIVE 75 where he currently tends bar. The drinks he serves all have his personal flair, a signature lollipop that goes with every apple martini. And a chocolate kiss with his lemon drop shooters!

Stephen has been tending to bar patrons for more than 20 years, from which another successful career, as a cartoonist and illustrator, has blossomed. A career, Stephen reveals, as one inspired by two decades of behind-the-bar-counseling and matchmaking, resulting in his creating over 200 greeting cards, 30 calendars, three humor books and an e-greeting card business at www.psychodairyfarm.com. You can also see many of Stephen's cartoons on www.stephenbrianphillips.net.

Stephen's earlier work about the ups and downs of the everywoman MELINDA first struck a chord with women, getting the giggles out of Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg, who said they found the cartoon series both funny and insightful. Since then, Stephen has developed many other characters, including a number of barnyard animals who save the world and inspire a real-life off-Broadway musical.

Not surprising, Stephen comes from an artistic family. He recalls watching from a backstage point of view his father performing on Broadway. From then on, Stephen was never satisfied with looking at life from obvious angles. When all is said and done, this New York City bartender-turned-TV host defines "fine living" by reminding us that most of our problems are not "life threatening," that we all could certainly use a good laugh, and in doing so help shine a light so we can all simply find our way.
