- High travel season is from Easter to Labor Day. Many restaurants and local businesses are closed from Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day, and most normal activities are unavailable during that time.

- A two-hour kayak tour costs $35 per person. Sunrise, sunset and full moon kayak tours are available.
