Affordable Granite Counters
Benissimo Systems Granite Solutions consists of premium A-grade granite tiles with radiused edges giving the look of a standard slab. The material is 3/8 inch thick, can be cut using a standard wet saw and installed like tile. Components are oversized to minimize on-site cutting and allowing a symmetrical finished look. Standard countertops are installed using 2-pieces. In addition, all edges have been eased to accommodate a net fit for tight seams. The line includes 13 designer colors as well as a complete line of mosaics, trims and accessories.

Formica Honed Counters
Formica offers two new kinds of faux stone countertops. The Honed Finish, unique to Formica Brand Laminate, is a low-sheen satin finish with subtle surface clefts and crevices that mimic softly brushed stone. The Honed Finish imparts warmth and character, perfectly enhancing Travertine, Slate and river-washed Granite. The Etchings Finish is a softly polished and etched surface, dappled with highlights from tiny fractures and fissures like those found in real granite and stone. Both finishes offer the look of stone, but it’s easy to clean, long lasting and more affordable than normal stone counters.
