Vacationing Pets
The Insider's List With Julie Moran : Episode FLINS-104
Before you take your pet on vacation there a few things to consider:
Most hotels charge pet fees ranging from $10-30 a day.
Ask about any non-refundable fees or refundable deposits required.
Some properties limit pets to smoking rooms or certain section of the property.
Make sure you know where the nearest veterinary clinic in the area is.
Consider getting a ground floor room to make late night bathroom runs a little easier.
Ask about any and or insect poisons in use; many of these are toxic to pets.
Find out whether your pet may be left unattended while in room and, if so, if the pet must be crated.
