An Italian Castle Clothing designer Cesar De La Parra just bought his dream house — an enchanting "Italian castle" built in 1925 in South Pasadena. His new residence, built entirely of brick, is a lovely historical property that towers high above a quiet street and features bird's-eye views from nearly every window. With a whopping lot size of 20,778 square feet, De La Parra is having a hard time making sense of his massive new space. Eventually, he wants the entire estate beautifully landscaped, complete with an elaborate pool, but for now, he desperately needs help from a landscape designer to complete the first phase, the entrance to the house.
