This room could clearly benefit from some storage solutions and a more user-friendly design for its owners, the Ella family. To come up with a plan that completely redefines this space, designers Rick Rifle and Kristen Casey each design a functional and attractive new look using furnishings chosen exclusively from mail-order catalogs and websites.
Rick goes for an Asian-American inspired design that he hopes will be a perfect fit for the homeowners' tastes. Kristen creates a more comfortable, kid-friendly room. The Ella family loves both designs, but they can only keep one. Which will it be?
