Fanning Master BedroomDesigners Nikki Chu and Jennifer Convy meet Jim and Kimberly Fanning, and see their lackluster master bedroom. The couple’s room has a fireplace, lots of windows and 15-foot ceilings, but with no color and plain accessories, the style stops there. Nikki and Jennifer come to the rescue to give the Fanning’s the French Country look they’ve always wanted. The designers set the tone for the makeover with a soft gold tone for the walls and an ivory hue for the ceiling.
Nikki’s design features luxurious bedding, plenty of storage and pops of red and gold. She also adds a beautiful chandelier and a flat screen TV. She even throws in a special bed for Sandy the family dog. A cozy fireside seating area rounds out her design. Jennifer creates a calm and relaxing boudoir in gold, rose and green tones. Strong elements such as an iron headboard and chandelier give impact to her design. Like Nikki, Jennifer also includes a TV and a bed for the family dog that complements the elegant décor.
