Furniture Maker, Stone Carver, Tile Artist
Furniture maker Haji Dahan creates a traditional Moroccan table with carved flowers and bone inlay in his studio in Santa Monica, Calif. Stone carver Dale Johnson of Columbus, Ohio, carves an enormous fireplace surround out of Indiana limestone. Robert Vogland creates clay tiles in the shape of a giant turtle and installs it on the bottom of a pool in Oahu, Hawaii.
