  • Ingredients:

    Serves 4

    8-oz. bittersweet Scharfenberger chocolate, coarsely grated
    8 slices chocolate cherry bread
    4 Tbs. unsalted butter, softened
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2-cup crème fraiche

    Directions:

    1. Evenly sprinkle grated chocolate on four slices of bread.
    2. Top each sandwich with second piece of bread and butter outside of bread with softened butter.
    3. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on both sides.
    4. Place sandwiches on a hot griddle or non-stick skillet. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until chocolate has melted.
    5. Open up sandwich and add a dollop of crème fraiche. Serve immediately.
