  • There is no reason to make a seven-course, complicated meal for your guests. Some simple appetizers work well for any gathering.
  • Michael says fun ways to serve food also liven up the party. For example, try using a barrel staves to serve simple appetizers.
  • If you're planning a night on the town but are fed up by the enormous markup of alcohol at restaurants, try inviting friends to your home for cocktails or wine before heading to the restaurant — your monetary savings will be significant!
  • Remember, a handful of liquors and ingredients go a long way when it comes to making great cocktails.
