About the Show

Who knows what The Next Food Network Star will cook up? This time around, the contestants live in a shared house in New York City. The challenges include everything from cooking concession food for an NBA game to a mini version of Food Network's Iron Chef America. With guest appearances by Bobby Flay, Alton Brown, Paula Deen and Rachael Ray, just to name a few, the finalists whip up inventive dishes with flare as they learn how to deal with media and television crews.
