Newsweek has published a list that ranks high schools by just one indicator the strength of their Advanced Placement and international baccalaureate programs. The list does not reflect college-bound or dropout rates, or teacher qualifications.

Alabama School of Fine Arts Birmingham, Alabama (home of a leading workforce of medical and engineering professionals)
Jericho High School Jericho, New York (28 miles from New York City)
