3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp. raw sugar
3 fresh lime quarters (the oil in the rind is an important element)
1-1/2 oz. rum
club soda or lemon lime soda
Directions:
In a glass, add mint, lime and sugar.
Muddle (crush and grind) ingredients.
Add ice, then rum to the mix.
Top off with the club soda or lemon-lime soda.
Add the remaining mint.
Mango Martini
Ingredients:
2 oz. orange flavored rum
1 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. mango puree (to make the puree: take 2 mangos, 2 Tbs. sugar, lime juice. Blend.)
splash orange juice
1/4-oz. lime juice
crushed ice
Directions:
Pour ice in a shaker, add ingredients and shake well.
Strain into chilled martini glass.
Chile Margarita
Ingredients:
1-1/2 oz. Tequila
3/4-oz. Triple Sec
splash of orange juice and a dash of fresh squeezed lime juice
2-3 slices of Serrano chilis (or jalapeno chilis)
lime wedge for garnish
Directions:
Pour ice in a shaker, add ingredients, and shake.
Serve in a chilled glass on the rocks or strain into margarita or martini glass.
