Course Description

The Prince is one of Hawaii's most challenging golf courses, with a USGA course rating of 75.3 and a 145 slope. Five different tees on each hole allow you to set your own challenge.

Named after Prince Albert, the only son of King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, Robert Trent Jones, Jr.'s masterpiece looks as if it erupted from nature — it chugs uphill, jumps ravines and careens downhill like a roller-coaster. The adjoining golf and clubhouse facilities are one of the most magnificent in the world and include a health club, spa, restaurant and bar.

Details

Hole 15 is a brawny par 5. Big hitters can challenge the stream that wanders across the fairway at the 250-yard mark — for everyone else; the hole is a classic three-shot par 5.

Trivia

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Golf Digest has named The Prince Course the Number One golf course in Hawaii. Jones, Jr. has been quoted as saying that number 15 is the favorite par 5 that he has ever designed.
