Marshmallow Popcorn Balls
Specials : Episode FLHWF-SP01

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:

1 bag microwave natural popcorn, popped
3.5 oz. bag marshmallows
1/2 stick butter
1/2-cup toasted coconut, shaved
1/2-cup pistachio nuts
1/2-cup dried cranberries
assorted candy
colored decorating sugar
nonstick spray

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in large pot.
  2. Add marshmallows and heat until completely melted.
  3. Mix in popcorn until kernels are fully coated.
  4. Add coconut, pistachio nuts and dried cranberries and mix together.
  5. Using gloves sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, scoop up approximately one cup of mixture at a time and form into balls.
  6. Wet rim of each martini glass and coat rim in decorating sugar.
  7. Add assorted candy to glass.
  8. Place popcorn ball in glass and garnish with additional candy.
