First up, three young boys and their parents take off for their first family ski vacation in Vail. Once there, they learn to ski, enjoy a sleigh ride and visit Adventure Ridge at the top of Vail, where they tube, bungee trampoline and snowmobile.

Next, a former Paralympian takes his two daughters for a cross-country ski getaway in the southern Adirondack mountains, where Ann and Olavi Hirvonen offer tourists Scandinavian respite at Lapland Lake. In addition to cross-country skiing, guests can ice skate, tube and enjoy the Nappu Kikku, an exciting sled ride on the frozen pond.

Finally, two teens and their "go-for-it" parents try out Smuggler's Notch in Vermont. On the agenda: air-boarding, dog-sledding, some runs down the racecourse and, of course, all the skiing and snowboarding you can handle.
