Michele Adams and Gia Russo
Michele Adams and Gia Russo met as editors for Martha Stewart Living. They found their skills and talents complemented each other's, and they shared an interest in style, gardening and entertaining stories.
Together they worked on every aspect of more than 50 stories, developing them from conception and research, to development, styling and production. They turned many of those stories into content for Martha Stewart's television segments, books and Websites.
While still editing the magazine, Michele became lead designer for the Kmart Garden line. She developed the launch collection, second year expansion collection and designed the retail displays for the product line. Gia traveled the country for Martha Stewart, advising brides and their families about weddings. Very quickly Michele and Gia recognized the opportunities and voids in the marketplace.
In 1999 Michele and Gia ventured out on their own, moving to Los Angeles and forming their company, MiGi, a combination of their first names. They co-authored two books, Wedding Showers and Baby Showers. Their third book, At Home With Friends, an exquisitely photographed homage to simple, elegant entertaining for all occasions, was published in 2002. It was nominated for a Gourmand International Award. Michele and Gia have contributed content to many magazines, including O Magazine, InStyle, Glamour, Lucky and Fit Pregnancy.
