Master Bedroom Design Strategy: Create a peaceful and serene room that connects with the view of the trees outside.

Design Elements: "This is the ultimate master bedroom," Linda says. "It's so dramatic it takes your breath away when you walk in." The bed is simple, but the fabric attached to the ceiling flows to the floor and pulls you in. The room is painted a rich green, but Linda switched to a creamy white above the padded headboard and on the ceiling to make both feel like part of the bed — a simple but effective design trick. All the different off-white textures and painted wood add richness in a subtle and calming way.
