FINE LIVING TV NETWORK MIXES IT UP WITH RENOWNED MIXOLOGIST

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 11, 2005) - FINE LIVING TV Network joins modern mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim as he serves up a look at the coolest, hippest and most progressive masters behind the bar throughout the country with a one-hour special entitled "Bar Chefs," airing this April on FINE LIVING.

From Manhattan to Miami to San Francisco we'll get the know the mixologists who are shaking things up in the spirit world by creating restaurant-like bars that serve fine cuisine in a glass instead of on a plate. Tony will visit Julie Reiner at her Flatiron Lounge in Manhattan, Santiago Rodriguez at Nobu Bar in Miami, and Marco Dionysis at Harry Denton's Starlight Lounge in San Francisco where Tony, coincidentally, began his career and created the legendary drink The Cable Car. He'll also drop in on other great Bar Chefs in these cities who are blazing new trails through the American cocktail scene.

Tony Abou-Ganim grew up in the bar business and after graduating from college learned an appreciation for a well made cocktail, using quality ingredients and proper technique. Tony assisted with the opening of "Harry Denton's" and "Harry Denton's Starlight Room" in San Francisco where he created his first specialty drink menu. In 1998, Tony was hand-picked by Steve Wynn to create the cocktail program at his new $1.7 billion Bellagio Las Vegas Resort. Currently, Tony operates his own beverage consulting firm and his specialty drinks have been featured in books and consumer magazines. He also talks cocktails weekly on KSFN — AM, writes a monthly column for Las Vegas Magazine and is working on his first book.
