FINE LIVING TV NETWORK PRESENTS TV SPECIAL -- HOSTED BY MUSICIAN CHRIS ISAAK -- SPOTLIGHTING JAZZ FEST
Chris Isaak's Guide to Jazz Fest Premieres April 23

KNOXVILLE, TN (March 2006) -- FINE LIVING TV NETWORK will debut a new TV special hosted by Grammy-nominated Chris Isaak on April 23 at 8 pm ET/PT -- with a repeat 8 pm showing on April 29. The one-hour special, Chris Isaak's Guide to Jazz Fest, is a tribute to the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which takes place this year April 28-30 and May 5-7. It will be one of the Big Easy's first, post-Hurricane Katrina events.

Isaak taped the original footage of this FINE LIVING special in 2005 just prior to Katrina. Due to the area's widespread devastation, the network held and updated the special until now to tie into this year's music celebration. Isaak worked with show producers following Katrina to modify the special -- which now includes a 2006 interview with him reflecting on his favorite memories and the people and places encountered while taping the special.

"The spirit of music lives on and I'm glad that Jazz Fest will continue this year," says Isaak who will release his Best Of album in May and tour this summer in support of the record. "I've always loved playing in New Orleans but taping this one-hour special with FINE LIVING allowed me to catch a glimpse of the city and its people that I wouldn't have known otherwise."

In the program, Isaak takes viewers on an up-close and personal tour of New Orleans and Jazz Fest. Throughout, Isaak captures the real flavor of the city and provides insider tips on where to stay and what to eat for the consummate New Orleans experience. Some of Isaak's culinary stops along the way include Bayona in the historic French Quarter; Rock & Bowl, a local favorite; and Café du Monde for a traditional New Orleans breakfast of beignets. In addition, he checks into Hotel Maison de Ville and The Audubon Cottages in the French Quarter where guests are treated to true Southern hospitality with that special New Orleans flair.

"After Katrina I revisited the area to do a benefit concert and it moved me to see the people and communities already rebuilding. I think the FINE LIVING special celebrates the spirit of these people and their unique culture."
