Growing up in New York City, Liz Heinrich was no stranger to the hustle and bustle of Wall Street. Once she earned a degree in marketing and finance, Liz instantly started working the long and hectic hours needed to compete in the world of big business. But after eight grueling years, she knew she was not on the road to happiness and gave it all up to join Club Med's circus team. She is now flying high and has no regrets!
- Liz Heinrich was a gymnast while growing up in New York City.
- She holds an undergraduate degree in finance and business and earned an MBA in 1996.
- While working as a banker, Heinrich learned to fly on weekends at trapeze workshops in New York
- Club Med employees are given housing and meals as part of their incentive package.
- Club Med employees change locations every season. Heinrich started at Club Med Turks and Caicos. This season she is flying at Club Med Ixtapa, Mexico.
- Heinrich works six days a week. On her day off she still performs in the nightly show.
- Flying trapeze lessons are included in the cost of staying at Club Med Ixtapa guests are invited to join the circus for nightly performances.
- The trapeze rig is 24 feet high.
