Marc and Julianne Saltzer are really just two "average Joes." They have a son, a daughter, a dog, a mortgage,and a lot of great friends. So why were they willing to sell everything and commit to a year of living out of suitcases and socializing with people who don't even speak English?

Well, both were tired of their jobs and thought if they didn't do it now when they still have their health and the kids want to hang out with them, when would they? Their year-long adventure was well planned and every minute and dollar is being used for this once-in-a-lifetime journey!
