Turtle Island (107)Richard Evanson was a mogul who had built a cable network from the ground up, then sold it for millions of dollars. Despite his successful career, happiness eluded him. His relationships were unsuccessful, he had developed a drinking habit and a lifestyle of excessand he desperately sought meaning in his life. Eventually, his search for solace led him to develop one of the world's most luxurious resorts.
Evanson found himself in Fiji, where he heard that a small, uninhabited island was for sale. He bought it, then spent three years there living a hermit's life and getting himself into shape. Newly rejuvenated, he decided to share the island with others and turned his private paradise into Turtle Island, an elegant, world-class resort.
