Ryan Asao: Finding Bargains Ryan Asao is a young, enthusiastic, tech-savvy real estate agent whose new client Ki is a first-time buyer. In order to get Ki the most for his money, Ryan suggests looking into short sale properties — those that are being sold by the bank in order to avoid foreclosure. Ki is disappointed when he realizes that many short sale properties have been neglected and usually need quite a few repairs.
Things do start looking up when they find a reasonably priced property that's in good shape, but they both are in for a shock when the bank finally responds to their offer. Ki must decide if short sales are really worth the trouble.
