Get creative by decorating your house in team colors.

Throw a Sports Party

Whether you love the sport or just want an excuse for a relaxed get-together, think about inviting friends over to watch a big game.

Decorate with Team Colors
Get creative with the invitations. Try something thematic such as an invite that reads like an admission ticket to the sports event you'll be viewing.

Serve Portable Foods
Since you'll probably want to watch the game yourself, make sure your menu is simple and easy to prepare in advance. And make sure it's easy to eat while sitting on the couch!

Create upgraded stadium foods, like a gourmet hot dog bar, or super long sub sandwiches for a variety of tastes.

Keep Clean-up Supplies Handy
Make sure serious fans won't miss a play by setting up a buffet within sight of the TV. Keep a supply of beverages in a cooler near the television as well.

Set Up Several TVs
Think about placing more than one TV around the party zone if you're planning a large gathering. For guests who prefer to chat without competition from excited fans, you can designate a "no-TV" zone.
