Cadillac, Sailing School, Custom Motorcycles, Racing School (103)
Cadillac is poised for an image change with the release of the sporty 2003 CTS, a sedan that's designed to appeal to a younger crowd. We'll also take a look at another inspiring Cadillac, the classic 1930 V-16 452A; then we'll go for a spin in an affordable Eldorado from the 1970s.

Our next stop is San Diego, where students at the Harbor Sailing School learn to race sailing yachts.

We'll also spend a day with three of the most sought-after custom motorcycle builders in the country. This trio of perfectionists often sells their creations for more than $50,000 apiece.

Finally, follow a father and son as they learn how to race on a grand prix race track at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Sit in on a professional race car technique class and watch students learn to take the high-speed turns from inside their customized Mustangs.

Cadillac Facts:

  • The CTS's 3.2-liter V6 takes it from 0-60 mph in less than seven seconds.

Custom Bike Builders Facts:

  • The origin of the term "chopper" dates back to the 1940s, when owners removed heavy parts from their stock motorcycles.

  • Today, a chopper refers to a cruiser-style motorcycle that is lowered and stretched with an extended front end.

  • Research suggests that Americans ride motorcycles for relaxation and a release from everyday stress.

  • The most custom choppers are modified Harley-Davidson-style V-Twins.
